The United Federation of Teachers’ BRAVE campaign aims to combat bullying in our schools. Short for Building Respect, Acceptance and Voice through Education, the BRAVE campaign provides educators, parents and students with the tools, knowledge and support to be pro-active in confronting and stopping bullying. The BRAVE campaign provides an array of resources and tools for educators to make a positive difference in their schools.
Our G.P.P.U. program at Bailey K. Ashford Elementary School (P.S. 287) has won the 2015 BRAVE award for our work creating a positive social climate and culture within the school!
We’re humbled to join P.S. 287 in receiving such an honor. We’d like to thank all of our supporters, and especially Principal Michele Brown, teachers, staff and students at P.S. 287.
If you’d like to to have the G.P.P.U. program in your school, send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with “G.P.P.U.” in the subject line. We’ll get right back to you!
Our Communities Our Children develops and supports programs that teach children, teenagers, their families and community institutions to identify, explore and develop the characters, talents and skills of children and teenagers.
